CenturyLink Targets Small Biz with Plug-and-Play VoIP

CenturyLink has introduced a plug-and-play offering dubbed CenturyLink Business VoIP–aimed at small businesses with one to 10 employees.

The first in a new series of offerings to build out CenturyLink’s portfolio of business-class solutions for SMBs, it uses a cloud-based unified communications platform to offer voice, broadband and integrations with business applications like Office 365.

There are two packages available for the service, each offering unlimited nationwide long distance, international rates and an array of VoIP features. The first package offers premium seat features, unlimited domestic long-distance and metered international long-distance, HD voice and video, and instant messaging and presence. The second package is more basic. Customers can also purchase additional unified communications features, such as calendar integration, file sharing, and an Outlook directory.

A Mobility App for Windows, Mac, iOS and Android devices offers access to voicemail, email, instant messaging, voice and video calls, and desktop sharing.
