ChannelVision Expo Agenda for Miami Focuses on Channel Success

TMC and Beka publishing today announced the conference program for ChannelVision Expo (CVx), to be held January 27-30, 2015, at the Miami Beach Convention Center. The event is catered to wholesale carriers, telecom agents, value-added resellers (VARs), system integrators and interconnect dealers and will provide insight on adapting to today’s ever-evolving communications ecosystem, what to sell and how to sell it. CVx will feature the latest technology innovations the channel needs to learn about as well as educational sessions to explore expert business strategies.

“This unique event provides the tools and techniques today’s telecom channel needs to take their business to the next level,” Rich Tehrani, TMC CEO and conference chairman. “The CVx program features the technology everyone wants to see, new selling techniques the channel needs to hear and is put together in an environment that cultivates new partnerships that cross traditional lines of business to provide all players with opportunities to expand their service portfolio.”

The CVx agenda includes the following sessions:

  • Field-Tested and Proven Methods to Grow Your Cloud Sales in 2015: Looking for a competitive sales edge to add to your processes in order to grow sales quickly and profitably in 2015 and beyond? Acclaimed speaker and two-time Channel Executive of the Year Tim Basa is back at CVx to offer street-savvy tips and sales strategies that are proven to work in the field and can be implemented almost immediately by sales and channel managers.
  • Using Smart Wireless to Enhance Business Communications: Unified communications mean more and more voice and video communications are taking place over Wi-Fi networks. In turn, mediocre Wi-Fi isn’t acceptable anymore; quality must be on par with wired networks. This session uncovers how smartly designed and implemented Wi-Fi enhances the “any device, anywhere” benefits of UC and why it’s important to select a UC suite that is optimized for wireless networks.
  • The Art of Channel Management: Three Keys to Channel Manager Success: Channel managers are not only in charge of partner recruitment, but are also responsible for partner sales. However, with more and more service providers in the market today selling the same services, it’s very difficult for channel managers to meet expectations. This session will discuss recruitment as the central point of a channel manager’s plan, as well as ways to get partners to sell more. The information will be wrapped around the current state of the industry as it relates to channel managers.
  • Scalable Cloud Communications for Distributed Enterprises: This session will present case studies illustrating how Star2Star channel partners have enabled national franchises and other distributed enterprises to conduct business in the most efficient, profitable and comfortable manner, rather than having their business practices dictated to them by their communications system. Learn how cloud communications have provided unmatched scalability via blended architectures, greater flexibility and functionality through “anywhere” accessibility and improved order processing and efficiency through customization, all while providing built-in disaster recovery and more.
  • Working SMS Business Apps for Consumers, Resellers and Carriers: Hear how SMS applications are creating game-changing business services and generating revenue for service providers willing to meet the overwhelming need for businesses to be more productive and innovative. In this session attendees will learn how to offer SMBs services that achieve new levels of efficiencies while adding value to business processes and marketing, with particular emphasis on privacy, proximity and SMS Sandbox.
