ChannelVision is pleased to announce that Bruce Christian has joined the editorial team as Senior Editor.
Christian, who is based in Arizona, is an industry veteran who previously served as managing editor for Virgo Publishing’s PHONE+ and PHONE+ International magazines. Christian was also managing editor of Virgo’s Telecommunications Division which included three additional magazines.
After leaving Virgo, Christian joined CopperPoint Insurance Company, where he became a marketing communications manager after receiving my master’s degree in business administration at the University of Phoenix. During this time, Christian helped BEKA launch GlobalVision, where he served as editor-in-chief.
Christian has also worked as a news reporter and political columnist on a daily newspaper in St. George, Utah; as the sports editor for a twice-per-week paper in Blythe, Calif., and a features reporter and media columnist for the East Valley Tribune in Mesa, Ariz.
A New York native, Christian brings a wealth of experience to the BEKA team. He is a U.S. Navy veteran, and has reporting, editorial and writing awards from the Arizona Press Club and the International Association of Business Communications. Christian has also served on the boards of the Television Critics Association of America, the Arizona Press Club and Genesis City, a not-for-profit charter school for disenfranchised youth.

Christian is the third major hire for ChannelVision this year. Earlier in 2020, the team added digital manager Rob Schubel, a marketing specialist who has been instrumental in growing the company’s email marketing program, as well as video and podcast productions. In addition, the company recently welcomed Nazal Parvin as Senior Sales Executive. Parvin has more than 15 years of experience in B2B sales, outreach and new business development.
