CMA Launches AI Cert., Book on AI Channel Marketing

The Channel Marketing Association (CMA) unveiled two major initiatives at its 2025 Channel Marketing Summit: the launch of the AI Essentials for Channel Marketers Certification program, as well as the debut of the book, “Your First 30 Days with AI: Channel Marketing Edition.” The latter was co-authored by CMA co-founder Kathryn Rose, alongside AI strategist, Julie Anne Eason.

AI Essentials for Channel Marketers Certification was launched in partnership with MindFlare AI. This hands-on AI training program is tailored specifically toward channel marketers. Designed for beginner to intermediate learners, the certification empowers partner program leaders, co-marketers and sales enablement teams to strategically integrate AI tools such as ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot into their daily workflows.

Participants will master practical skills such as:

  • Automating partner communications and newsletters.
  • Creating co-branded marketing assets.
  • Streamlining MDF and QBR reporting.
  • Enhancing sales enablement with AI-driven materials.
  • Applying AI responsibly within the channel ecosystem.

The course is delivered via a flexible, on-demand platform, and includes video modules, prompt templates, worksheets, quizzes and a final certification badge upon completion.

“Channel pros don’t need more theory—they need systems that actually save time, increase their value to the organization, and make reporting easier,” said Rose. “That’s what this certification delivers.”

CMA also celebrated the release of “Your First 30 Days with AI: Channel Marketing Edition,” published by Thanet House Publishing. The book provides a hands-on, step-by-step guide for channel marketers to practically adopt and apply AI tools in their daily work.

Structured over four progressive weeks, the book walks readers through:

  • Building an AI resource center and mastering basic prompts.
  • Creating brand-consistent templates and scalable workflows
  • Using AI to drive partner enablement and lead generation
  • Developing full co-branded marketing campaigns

Designed for partner marketers, program managers and anyone managing co-marketing or MDF programs, the book moves beyond theory to offer practical templates, exercises and measurable outcomes.

“When we talk to marketers in our CMA community, the message is clear: give us something that actually works,” said Rose. “That’s what this book delivers.”

“Channel marketers aren’t just ready for AI—they’re the ones best positioned to make it work at scale,” said Eason. “This book shows them how.”
