CtrlS Building India’s Largest Data Center Parks

CtrlS Datacenters Ltd, Asia’s largest Rated-4 data center provider, looks to triple its number of data centers from eight to about 25 by 2024-25. CtrlS is in the process of expanding its footprint by an additional 5 million square feet from its present 1.2 million square feet of space.

As part of its expansion, the company’s 2 million square feet Hyperscale Datacenter Park in Navi Mumbai is under construction, while another 2 million square feet Hyperscale Datacenter Park in Hyderabad is ready for construction.

The company also has begun work on a 1 million square feet DC campus in Chennai. These three projects will cumulatively add more than 600-megawatt capacity to CtrlS’ portfolio of assets.

CtrlS Chairman Sridhar Pinnapureddy said, “Altogether, we will add over 600 MW IT load capacity in these locations and 5 million square feet of additional space. We are fully geared up to emerge as the world’s largest Rated-4 datacenter player.

“In addition to these large DC Parks, CtrlS Datacenters is also setting up a hyperscale datacenter facility in Kolkata, which is a key gateway to Northeast,” he added.
