DC BLOX Introduces Connectivity eXchange

DC BLOX, a provider of secure, reliable data centers across the Southeast, has expanded and enhanced its connectivity capabilities through the introduction of the DC BLOX Connectivity eXchange (DCB-CX).

The DCB-CX is an interconnection platform that enables participants anywhere within the DC BLOX connectivity ecosystem to peer across a high-bandwidth, low-latency software-defined fabric. The DCB-CX was created to address the need for agile, efficient and resilient connectivity in underserved markets across the Southeast.

With the DC BLOX Connectivity eXchange, organizations in the region are no longer constrained by legacy networks, limited local service provider options or having to collocate in out-of-state Internet Exchanges.

The DCB-CX offers low-latency, resilient connectivity across its footprint enabling virtual connections to built-in carriers, public cloud providers, regional Internet Exchanges (Atlanta; Montgomery, Alabama; and Nashville) and participating entities.

Every DC BLOX data center serves as an Exchange Point on the eXchange enabling carriers, ISPs, content delivery networks, hyperscale cloud providers, research institutions, local governments, rural broadband providers, and enterprises to peer with partners and providers locally, regionally and globally.

The DCB-CX also has expanded its reach with the addition of DC BLOX’s newest data center in Greenville, South Carolina. Greenville joins other DC BLOX data centers on the eXchange in Atlanta; Birmingham and Huntsville, Alabama; Chattanooga, Tennessee; and High Point/Greensboro North Carolina in the future.
