Digi International appointed Tony Puopolo as SVP and GM of Digi Managed Solutions, which comprises business units such as Digi Cellular Solutions and Ventus Managed Solutions.
Puopolo has two decades of experience in driving business growth and innovation within the technology sector – including 13 years with Cradlepoint – and is skilled in leading product strategy, building sales teams and deploying global channel programs.
With this role, he will focus on expanding Digi’s portfolio of managed services, empowering MSPs, resellers and customers to unlock 4G and 5G potential and driving sustainable growth.
“Channel is the heart of what we do, and how we will go to market,” said Puopolo. “We will ensure that our channel partner program is rock solid and easy to implement. Those partners can expect a simpler way to license, deploy and manage Digi solutions. That’s going to be a big focus for our channel program.”
Digi International will also be rolling out its Digi 360 program, for helping partners deliver customer value through services and hardware, later this year. In particular, it will provide a total IoT solution for enterprise, industrial and transportation use cases.
