EdgeConneX has launched of its latest Edge Data Center, in the Salt Lake City metro area, located at 2302 Presidents Drive, West Valley City, Utah. The facility is designed to bring distributed colocation closer to broadband provider aggregation points, for better content delivery to end-users.
The facility offers a variety of wholesale and colocation options, ranging in scalability from a single rack, to multi-rack systems, to private, custom cages. The EdgeConneX Salt Lake City facility features robust, redundant power, high-density cooling and diverse fiber connectivity between other Edge Data Centers, including those in Houston, Denver, Phoenix and Las Vegas. This Edge Data Center is located near downtown Salt Lake City, the Salt Lake City International Airport, and is in close proximity to main telecommunications and fiber hubs.
