Fusion Telecommunications International is planning to acquire the Broadvox retail business, including its agent contracts. Fusion will be integrating key staff, platforms and the network into its NBS cloud communications division.
Broadvox will retain its wholesale business.
“The agreement with Broadvox is an important step forward in Fusion’s growth strategy as we emerge as a leading provider in the cloud services marketplace,” said Matthew Rosen, CEO at Fusion Telecommunications. “We are especially delighted to welcome an experienced team of outstanding professionals who share our own unwavering commitment to service excellence. We are looking forward to working closely with the Broadvox team and its vital network of distribution partners to introduce our advanced, yet proven portfolio of cloud solutions over time, offering an opportunity to better serve their valued customers.”
The transaction is expected to close before the end of the year. Upon closing, Broadvox services will continue to leverage the same voice assets and platforms, and will remain supported by the same team of professionals.
“We are very excited about the benefits this agreement will bring to our customers in terms of product innovation and customer experience,” said Andre Temnorod, Broadvox founder, president and CEO. “Fusion’s professional management and customer-centric culture very much reflect our core values and we fully expect that this transition will be beneficial to our customers over the short and long term.”
