GENBAND has announced John D’Annunzio as the senior vice president of global channel sales.
D’Annunzio will be responsible for revenue generation for the company through strategic global integrator partners and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), including Alcatel-Lucent, Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung, NEC and HP.
“John brings to GENBAND a wealth of sales and leadership experience in the communications industry,” said Mark Pugerude, president of global sales for GENBAND. “His extensive track record of building strategic relationships and consistently producing strong results will be key for us as we continue to grow market share for our real time communications solutions through our global channel partners.”
Prior to joining GENBAND, Mr. D’Annunzio held various executive sales positions at AudioCodes, including vice president of global accounts sales, vice president of North America sales and director of OEM sales. D’Annunzio has also served in several leadership roles at Blue Wave Systems and Newell-Rubbermaid. Additionally, he was an instructor pilot in the United States Air Force where he participated in Operations Just Cause, Desert Shield and Desert Storm.
He holds an Executive Masters of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University.
