Global Capacity Expands One Marketplace with San Fran Fiber

Global Capacity has expanded its One Marketplace platform with a diverse route, 72-mile fiber ring in San Francisco.

In the last eight months, Global Capacity has lit more than 210 miles of fiber across seven major metropolitan areas, including Dallas, Atlanta, Washington, D.C., New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, and now San Francisco.

“Global Capacity is aggressively investing in building out metro fiber in several key markets precisely because there is high customer demand for our services in those locations,” said Patrick Hannon, chief revenue officer of Global Capacity. “Expanding our network presence allows Global Capacity to offer services that enable our customers’ solutions – voice, data and the cloud – at any speed from 1Mbps to 10Gbps.”

Global Capacity, an aggregator of networks, strategically built its metro rings to interconnect key network hubs, carrier hotels and Local Service Offices (LSOs) with high-demand data centers. One Marketplace platform, which combines an interconnected, aggregated data network with cloud-based applications that automate the design, pricing, delivery and maintenance of network connectivity.
