Granite Telecommunications has announced the availability of Granite Guardian FlexEdge, a universal customer premises device that consolidates multiple network functions, such as firewall, SD-WAN, SBC, cellular data router and more.
Granite Guardian FlexEdge is an enhancement to Granite Guardian, a comprehensive managed network solution that safeguards the availability and performance of business connections from WAN to LAN using an “as-a-service” delivery model. Granite Guardian includes services for access remediation, LAN, security and WAN optimization.Granite Guardian FlexEdge also enables companies to quickly test or deploy one or more Guardian solutions without installing and paying for new hardware each time.
The all-in-one Granite Guardian FlexEdge device allows enterprises to terminate an Ethernet circuit, connect a broadband modem, add 4G/5G wireless backup, install a proxy server that enables Granite Guardian Advanced Monitoring, run an instance of any of Granite SD-WAN or security solutions, deploy an industry-leading firewall from Fortinet, Juniper, Palo Alto, or Checkpoint and install an SBC to run Granite VoIP services.
