GTT Communications announced today it has been recognized with the Best Deal Maker Award in Light Reading’s 2018 Leading Lights Awards.
The 14th annual Leading Lights Awards honor the top companies in the communications industry across 24 categories. GTT won the Best Deal Maker Award for consistently demonstrating good timing, judgment and execution for high-profile acquisitions, partnerships, joint ventures and other multi-company financial arrangements.
The win is a testament to GTT’s successful execution of its acquisition strategy and its completion of seven acquisitions in 2017. The award also recognizes GTT’s February 26 announcement to acquire Interoute, operator of one of Europe’s largest independent fiber networks.
