Illumio has appointed Denis Maynard as senior vice president of sales, taskeed with building out and overseeing sales (including channel partners) at the cloud and data center adaptive security company.
Maynard was most recently former senior vice president of worldwide sales and sales operations for Ruckus Wireless. Prior to Ruckus, he held a series of executive sales roles at Harmonic, Omneon, QLogic and Cisco.

Founded in 2012, Illumio spent almost two years in stealth mode, developing the Illumio Adaptive Security Platform (ASP) and building out its team. By the time Illumio launched in October 2014, the company had raised $42.5 million in funding from investors that include Andreessen Horowitz, General Catalyst Partners and Formation8.
