independenceIT (iIT) has introduced iIT University (iIT U), an immersive sales and marketing training program for its partner network. VARs, MSPs and ISPs that join the iIT Partner Program are automatically enrolled in the program, which is aimed at driving cloud services revenue.

iIT U has three components, starting with strategic consulting from iIT’s executive vice president of business development Jim Lippie and his team. iIT works with a partner’s executive leadership to determine how cloud services fit within a current portfolio, and helps partners develop attractive cloud services offerings that create new income opportunities.

“The benefits of cloud computing have put intense pressure on established companies to quickly modify their proven business models,” said Lippie. “iIT University is proof of our commitment to helping VARs, MSPs and ISPs through this transition as we provide them with all of the tools they need to acquire, provision and support end-user Cloud Workspace Suite customers.”

iIT U also delivers Cloud Workspace-certified training sessions that cater to the specific needs of each channel partner’s organization.  For instance, beyond the modules built for the sales team, technicians, engineers, administrative support and project management personnel have access to a Cloud Workspace-certified program that focuses on the technical aspects of cloud computing.

And, iIT U provides customizable white-label marketing and sales collateral, including case studies, brochures and service-level agreements.
