Total Server Solutions recently hired Jim Harris as its channel director.
Harris, an industry veteran, brings over 16 years of channel experience to the table. At his three previous companies, Harris was tasked with developing and overseeing the start-up of their channel programs. He will look to continue and build off that success at TSS by providing the keys to TSS’ extensive platform of custom engineered services to the re-seller community.
Harris will directly engage with the sales team to develop and implement a complete corporate channel strategy for TSS, translating its sales goals into channel strategies creating revenue for both TSS and their partners.
In addition, he will oversee and administer the selection of channel marketing partners, budgets, and the positioning of all channel related sales activities.
Previously Harris served as national channel manager for Stratus Technologies, Peak 10, and Office Depot’s CompuCom division. From New York, Harris studied at Fredonia State University and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida where he obtained his pilots license. Jim is married with four children and resides in central Florida.
