U.S. data center provider InfoRelay has increased power density at two data center sites catering to clients in Eastern and Western US.
The company operates 15 data centers across the US used for IT solutions and colocation. The power increases were made to its LAX3 data center at N Alameda Street, Los Angeles and its IAD3 data center in Sunrise Valley Drive, Reston, Virginia.
“Customers looking to increase power density in Los Angeles and in Reston are in a favorable situation. InfoRelay’s new lower-priced, higher-density power configurations allow customers to bring 60W of 208V power into a single rack, without dramatically increasing their financial commitment,” said InfoRelay’s director of sales William Lombardo. “Many customers start with around 30Amps per rack. But due to business growth, they often need to expand their footprint and scale infrastructure. Our latest upgrades to power setups enable these customers to realize that growth at a competitive rate, while keeping their equipment in the same secure data center.”
The upgrades were made as part of a larger round of infrastructure improvements which began this year.
