Integra is acquiring World Communications, Inc. (WCI), thereby expanding its presence in the state of Washington.
WCI markets a portfolio of voice, data and colocation services for clients in retail, professional services, manufacturing and other vertical markets in the Seattle metro region. WCI will bring to Integra an established base of customers who will gain access to Integra’s fiber-based networks and product portfolio.
“WCI has built a sterling reputation for serving enterprise customers in the Seattle area for close to 20 years,” said Kevin O’Hara, Integra CEO. “Those customers and WCI’s business model align perfectly with Integra’s objectives for strategic growth, while enhancing our position in this vital metro market. We are pleased to be joining forces with WCI’s talented team and look forward to bringing WCI customers the full benefits of our enterprise-grade networks along with the superior level of service they have come to expect.”
Integra and WCI have had a long-term business relationship, with Integra having provided network services to WCI customers for many years.
