Intelisys Creates the Role of VP, Supplier Sales

Master agent Intelisys Communications has appointed Mike McKenney to the newly created role of vice president of supplier sales.

McKenney is tasked with creating original revenue-driving programs for new and existing suppliers in the Intelisys portfolio. He will work closely with the Intelisys leadership team to develop and implement programs, and will work side-by-side with the existing Intelisys supplier management team.

McKenney started with Intelisys in July 2004 as SWAT sales manager and, later, was appointed to director of partner sales. In 2009, he was promoted to vice president of partner sales, a role in which he has since been responsible for all aspects of sales and sales management for Intelisys’ partner sales function, most recently for Intelisys’ West Region.

Prior to joining Intelisys, McKenney was Intelisys’ channel manager at Cable & Wireless, where he was the first direct sales representative in Cable & Wireless company history to win the Annual National Sales Contest for eight consecutive years.
