Iron Mountain will participate in the Intelligent Health Pavilion (IHP) at HIMSS 2019. The company will provide demonstrations of its Iron Cloud Critical Protection and Recovery (CPR) solution and its Secure IT Asset Disposition (SITAD) service.
Iron Mountain will also be featured in a panel session titled “When Cyber Attacks Hit, Disaster Recovery is not Enough” on Tuesday, Feb. 12 at 3:30 p.m. EST on the IHP main stage. Iron Mountain’s panel session will focus on the design and implementation of a cyber-resilience strategy for healthcare providers, and will offer perspectives from FBI, health IT and cyber recovery experts.
Faced with budget constraints and increasingly complex data privacy and security requirements, the company says, healthcare providers must also contend with the growing sophistication of cyber threats and criminals looking to steal critical and valuable data.
With these factors drawing the attention of the C-suite, a new approach to protecting this data is required that elevates the focus on cyber resilience. This session will share practical advice on where to start and will discuss best practices for enabling the seamless implementation of a cyber resilience strategy, including how to design a security strategy, and using real world examples to identify the unique requirements and components of a modern recovery and resilience plan.
