MASS Communications concluded 2016 with strong growth in its voice and data networking business, reporting 19 percent revenue growth compared with the prior year, and 77 percent growth compared with the last three years.
The company’s top-line revenue growth was $25.6 million included 209% growth in EBITDA. Revenue has increased by more than 100,000 times since the company’s first year of operation in 2008.
MASS Communications serves a broad range of small to mid-size global enterprises in the financial, legal, healthcare, technology, education and government space, offering custom-engineered voice, data, risk management and security solutions.
“2016 was another milestone year for our company from a top-line growth and product innovation standpoint,” said Darren Mass, CEO of MASS Communications. “2017 is going to be an even more critical year for us and the entire telecom industry. As telecom companies consolidate, they will leave a significant void for customer service for all clients ranging from SMBs to SMEs – and MASS Communications is ready to fill this need. Our customers’ priorities are our priorities.”
In 2016, the company launched its SD-WAN service solution, which further extends its portfolio and commitment to provide the best telecom solutions. MASS Communications’ security IT initiative is well underway to provide cybersecurity awareness and preparedness solutions for enterprise clients, leveraging the best vendors in the industry.
“We are seeing an uptick in large-scale multi-site, multi-national businesses as they move away from legacy MPLS networks and high-cost vendors toward cloud-based, SD-WAN services and other similar solutions,” said David Schwed, general counsel and CIO, MASS Communications.
“MASS Communications continues to create a culture where employees actively contribute to the success of each other and our partners while going above-and-beyond for MASS customers,” added Marc Gold, the company’s president and COO. “Underscoring this commitment, MASS Communications has published its core values, mission and vision for employees on the company website. In 2016, we were named the 12th best company to work for in New York City by Crain’s New York Business, an honor that is particularly meaningful since it relied on company employee surveys.”
MASS Communications pays 100% of the health coverage (medical and dental) for its employees and their families. Eight jobs were created last year and the company currently is hiring in every department.
The telecom solution provider also was named for the fourth consecutive year to the Inc. 500|5000 List of Fastest-growing Privately Held Companies and, according to company officials, is on target to make the list for a fifth time in 2017.
