MegaPath has announced the appointment of Robert McCarthy as vice president of channel sales, responsible for the strategic direction and management of MegaPath’s North American channel sales organization.
McCarthy brings more than 20 years of experience in the telecom, wireless and software industries, having most recently served as senior channel director at Vonage Business Solutions, where he increased channel partner revenue by 200 percent. In his new role with MegaPath, McCarthy will lead the company’s channel initiatives, developing streamlined sales processes that enable partners to grow their businesses with ease and efficiency.

In addition to his time at Vonage, McCarthy has held key leadership roles focused on driving revenue growth and managing channel sales programs. As vice president and general manager at PAETEC, McCarthy was responsible for leading sales and marketing initiatives. He also served as XO Communications’ vice president and general manager of Northern California where he led the nation in revenue growth. He resides in Northern California.
