MessageBroadcast has hired telecom industry veteran Mark Sondergaard to lead its new channel partner program, and has signed up World Telecom Group as a master agent.
Sondergaard has more than 26 years’ experience in telecom, working for industry leaders including Sprint, McLeodUSA and WTG.
“We’re extremely lucky to get a well-respected veteran like Sondergaard to lead our charge into the channel,” said MessageBroadcast CEO Bill Potter. “As we invest more resources and time in the channel, we need to make sure we have the right leadership, focus and experience in place to be successful. Sondergaard brings those elements and more.”
MessageBroadcast operates a cloud-based multi- channel message delivery network supporting automated inbound and outbound voice, interactive voice response (IVR), SMS/text, email and broadband communications. Sondergaard said that he aims to grow sales significantly via the channel while improving company-wide sales and marketing performance.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to bring proven MessageBroadcast communication solutions to the channel setting,” said Sondergaard. “MessageBroadcast changes the way companies communicate with their customers, employees and suppliers. I can’t wait to show the channel how they can impact the customer experience and improve the bottom-line at the same time.”
WTG is one of the company’s first channel partners. With a nationwide network of more than 2,500 telecom consultants, VARs and independent sales agents, WTG offers local, long distance, data, wireless, Internet and associated equipment.
“We’re excited to bring an established master agent on board,” said Potter. “WTG provides a diverse portfolio of services to its customers, and our innovative, cross-channel messaging solutions will allow their agents to offer all kinds of new value to their accounts.”
“This new relationship with MessageBroadcast gives us the opportunity to solve complicated customer communication issues and grow additional business on a premier messaging platform,” added Vince Bradley, CEO of WTG. “We’re very enthusiastic about the unique solutions that we can now deliver to the market.”
