NetApp hired Ashish Dhawan as SVP, Global Cloud Sales. With this role, he will focus on expanding the company’s presence in the cloud services domain.
Dhawan joins the company from AWS, where he led worldwide sales for enterprise cloud workloads, in addition to gaining over two decades of international experience driving high growth. Dhawan began his career in technology sales, honing his skills at companies such as Wipro, Microsoft and Juniper.
Key achievements included:
- Leading AWS enterprise sales growth by over 30 percent, consistently over the past 5 years.
- Migrated several Fortune 500 companies to the cloud.
- Built a high-performing team of sales professionals.
- Was recognized as a top performer and industry leader.
Dhawan’s appointment comes on the heels of NetApp’s naming Riccardo Di Blasio as SVP of North America Sales.
