NetCarrier has added Telecom Brokerage Inc. (TBI) as its second Platinum Master Agent; the company expects to add a total of five.
Based in Chicago, TBI has more than 2,000 agents nationwide. With this addition, NetCarrier’s total nationwide authorized partner count is now nearing 3,000 agents and subagents.
“In addition to the tremendous operational structure that TBI brings to the table, the partnership is enhanced by the alignment of our organizational philosophies,” said Bruce Wirt, NetCarrier’s vice president of channel sales. “Similar to us, TBI grows its employees through the company and takes pride in inter-department chemistry and company culture. This is a great fit for us.”
NetCarrie, which does not employ a direct sales team, has, like most channel organizations, appointed channel managers to work with agents, subagents and VARs to acquire new business. It also has a key account team works side-by-side with the partner to maintain and grow each account. The master agent push is an extension of the strategy.
“We are proud to offer NetCarrier’s integrated communications services to our agent community,” said Ken Mercer, vice president of TBI. “We believe NetCarrier’s focus on the channel, combined with TBI’s deep sales and support teams, will spell real success for our agents. Importantly, NetCarrier’s ability to hand off their services to POTS, PRI, or SIP over customers’ existing bandwidth makes them very versatile and an option for the majority of the quotes we do.”
Through the partnership, TBI partners will have access to NetCarrier’s entire suite of services, including its nCloud product suite, and can receive instant quotes and qualifications on several access providers, including cable MSOs like Comcast, Time Warner Cable and Charter.
