NetFortris has announced its acquisition of Fonality, known for its software-defined unified communications as a service (UCaaS) solutions.
By adding Fonality’s cloud-based UCaaS suite to NetFortris’ service offering, the company will be able to offer enterprise communications solutions and managed network services to its customers. The expanded solutions suite will provide a complete set of cloud communications, networking, security, and software defined solutions,
so that NetFortris can better meet market demands.
Once the companies have combined, they’ll have operating centers in three countries, while the headquarters will be split between the offices in Seattle and Dallas. They’ll provide services to over 11,000 customers and 300,000 end users, located in 41 countries around the world.
As both Fonality and NetFortris offer channel partner programs, the two programs will also be combined, with a new partner program to be launched in April.
Following the acquisition, NetFortris CEO Grant Evans will maintain leadership. The full terms of the acquisition, including cost, have not yet been disclosed.
