New Pegasystems Hire to Drive Partner Program Transformation

Pegasystems, which calls itself “The Enterprise Transformation Company,” designated Daniel Kasun as head of its global partner ecosystem. Kasun will report to chief of client and partner success, John Higgins.

In this role, he will lead the strategic evolution of Pega’s partner ecosystem, helping clients accelerate their legacy transformation by strengthening alliances with global SIs and hyperscalers, accelerating Pega GenAI and Blueprint adoption through partners and expanding partner-influenced revenue across global markets.

The appointment supports Pega’s focus on leveraging strategic partnerships and simplified commercial models, broadening market reach and driving application modernization. With Kasun, Pega expects to expand its ecosystem, helping partners more quickly deliver cloud-native, modern applications.

Kasun formerly built and led partner organizations for AWS, with a particular focus on assisting ISVs in working with AWS’ sales organization. He also spent 18 years with Microsoft.

“With so many enterprises looking to modernize their legacy applications, Daniel brings the experience and transformational leadership we need as we evolve our partner strategy to meet these increasing demands,” said Higgins. “His experience in building high-performing partner ecosystems, combined with his deep understanding of enterprise transformation challenges, will be instrumental in helping our partners drive meaningful change for their clients.”

“The momentum of generative and agentic AI has created tremendous opportunity, particularly for modernization of legacy systems,” added Kasun. “Pega is extremely well positioned to help enterprise customers leverage those AI advancements to meet their transformation goals, and a robust, effective partner ecosystem is critical to ensuring that customer success. I’m honored to join such a great company and strong community of partners, and I look forward to revolutionizing the industry together.”
