nexVortex has completed certification testing between nexVortex SIP Trunking and TE-SYSTEMS’ anynode session border controller (SBC) to support Microsoft Teams Direct Routing.
The anynode SBC is a pure software solution and has multiple advantages over hardware-based SBCs including the ability to be run in the cloud or on premises. Simple and quick access to the user interface also makes it easy to manage and administer. For ease of deployment, nexVortex SIP Trunking is included in the anynode SBC drop-down wizard.
Microsoft Teams users can now take advantage of nexVortex’s feature-rich SIP Trunking service for voice calls to and from the public switched telephone network (PSTN) while leveraging the power, flexibility, and ease-of-use of the anynode SBC.
nexVortex SIP Trunking has highly valued functionality including the ability to share SIP Trunking resources among all licensed Teams users in an organization—providing tremendous cost savings. The sharing of trunk resources can also be applied to a hybrid configuration consisting of Teams and a PBX. This delivers even more cost savings while providing flexibility and business continuity with nexVortex’s autodetecting disaster recovery which is included with every SIP plan.
The anynode SBC has advanced features including routing between multiple domains, time-based routing, load balancing, support of group calls, and call forking among many others. Its web-based management is secure, role-based, and easy to use. It allows administration of multiple nodes within one configuration interface, monitoring of active sessions with logging of events and call history including valuable statistics concerning completed sessions.
