nGenx, which focuses on the delivery of hosted workspaces, including applications and desktops, has announced that Scott Markley has joined the nGenx team as a channel sales executive.
In his new position, he will support nGenx efforts to increase market share in the channel as prominence of desktop and application virtualization grows with businesses across the globe.
Prior to nGenx, Markley served as senior vice president for IndependenceIT, where he advised senior management on go-to-market and brand strategy, business development and product roadmap development. He also drove the organization’s efforts to enlist VARs, MSPs and ISPs into the company’s partner network. Before his role as SVP, Markley served as director of business development and expanded the company’s footprint with new technology and channel partners globally.
“nGenx is bringing real advances in how desktops and applications are consumed in both large and small organizations,” said Markley. “With a fully packaged solution that leaves no stone unturned with respect to automation, management, and system reliability, I look forward to introducing prospective partners to the advantages that will drive greater revenue to their operations.”
“Having a first-class executive like Scott onboard will support our efforts to drive adoption of the nGenx platform as customer interest in client virtualization grows,” said JD Helms, president of nGenx. “While our category leading platform for desktop and application service delivery expands opportunities for the company, the team behind it is equally valued. We are pleased to have Scott join our team and participate in our success.”
