Orange has opened a large-capacity IP point of presence (PoP) in the Middle East.
The facility, located in Amman, Jordan, will enhance Internet connectivity in the region for wholesale customers, and means that it will be able to leverage its strong existing customer base, through Orange Jordan.
In the medium- and long-term, Orange expects the Amman IP PoP to facilitate the development of the Middle Eastern IP market.
