Phonism has integrated with Polycom’s cloud-based-based PDMS-SP solution for service providers.
The addition of the Polycom’s cloud service expands Phonism’s multi-vendor solution set, adding a series of Polycom specific features to Phonism’s market-leading set of configuration and device management services.
Phonism has simplified and automated one of the telecommunications industry’s most significant, challenges, which is onboarding and supporting customers. Service providers and enterprise IT departments that deploy Polycom devices will now benefit from having a single cloud-based solution that provides specific Polycom features, as well as offering support for many other hardware vendors devices, including Yealink, Cisco and others.
In addition, Phonism plans to also support Polycom’s new Obi edition firmware as an option for Polycom devices. This new Obi edition firmware allows customers who in the past deployed Obihai devices to receive the same feature set for new Polycom phones using Phonism’s device management solution.
“Integrating with the Polycom API to expand Phonism’s solution meets the biggest need service providers have been asking for by delivering a multi-vendor solution with the extended feature set that Polycom offers as well,” said Steve Lazaridis, CEO of Phonism.
