Piksel has added Don Whaley as vice president of global channels. He will develop and manage the global channel strategy for Piksel’s video and digital signage SaaS products.
“We are looking to invest in channel sales significantly as part of our long-term strategy, and Don has the right industry expertise to help us recruit, develop and manage our growing roster of channel partners,” said Kevin Joyce, chief commercial officer at Piksel. “Don’s experience in the training and management of large sales teams will help us educate our partners about Piksel’s roadmap, and provide the necessary support to allow our partners to operate as an extension of our company.”
Whaley has more than 20 years in the enterprise space focused on channel and partners.
“Having a coherent and effective channel strategy and supporting management process is a vital part of the wider go-to-market strategy,” said Whaley. “While Piksel already has some established channels in markets around the globe, there is clear ambition and appetite for further expansion. As we grow our channels, we’ll benefit from the increased reach, local market knowledge, and client relationships that partners provide”I see exciting opportunities to scale globally by establishing channels that specialize in the segments that best fit Piksel’s portfolio of products and solutions.”
Channel partners will sell a range of Piksel’s solutions:
- Piksel Digital Enterprise — end-to-end digital signage platform, integrated with Piksel Video Platform to allow the delivery of live and VOD content to multiple devices;
