Master agency PlanetOne Communications has unveiled the details for its 2013 incentives program, which adds new rewards for its top sales partners.
In 2014, PlanetOne will have three main events: In the first leg of the reward program, PlanetOne will for the fourth year rent a Sky Box at the 16th hole at the Phoenix Open in February—dubbed the “rowdiest hole in golf.” The 2014 PGA tour stop will take place Jan. 27-Feb. 2. Then in March, it will host its leading sales partners in Scottsdale, Ariz. for a Major League Baseball Spring Training outing. And to cap off the season, it will honor its “High Rollers” with a five-star luxury tour of Napa Valley, including private wine tastings, limousine service and various high-end culinary experiences. And, for the first time, qualifying partners will be able to bring guests, depending on qualification levels, be they customers or other members of their team.
The Spring Training event and the High Roller grand prize are new elements of the rewards structure.
“This year we really wanted to provide something different, while expanding our incentive program to include members of our sales partners’ teams, to enjoy the very best Arizona has to ,which is weather, golf, Spring Training and our signature event at the 16th hole at the Phoenix Open,” said Ted Schuman, founder and CEO of PlanetOne. “The idea is to recognize our top partners and to do it with a mix of events that offer business-building opportunities. We’ve made that our hallmark, and it’s time to take that same idea and do something different and fresh with it. This program does exactly that.”
Sales for the full year 2013 will count towards thresholds; agents can qualify for a trip beginning at $15,000, with several interim milestones built into the program. At $100,000, a partner qualifies for the High Roller experience in Napa. Winners will be announced throughout the year.
The company said that one big highlight for PlanetOne in bringing its partners to its backyard is the fact that both the Phoenix Open and the spring training games offer a chance to meet and socialize with the PlanetOne team in Scottsdale. “We are so excited to be planning something that will give all of PlanetOne’s employees a chance to celebrate the success of our partners,” said Lauren Shapiro, president at PlanetOne. “The people on the front line internally, who work so hard all year long to ensure our partners’ success, will meet our partners face to face. Baseball fan or not, golf fan or not, these events will provide everything the Valley of the Sun has to offer – including our fantastic PlanetOne team.”
