PlusOne, a data center solutions provider, has partnered with PeakColo in a white-label arrangement to offer an enterprise-class suite of cloud-based services from its facility in Chicago.
PlusOne’s Cloud offering, built upon VMware vCloud-powered solutions from PeakColo, provide a complement to its colocation services and fill out the suite of sophisticated services for its customers.
“PlusOne will differentiate itself by delivering its own branded, enterprise-class cloud-based services to our customers,” said Kevin Francis, PlusOne’s director of real estate. “In addition to these cloud-based services, our operating model will continue to deliver best-in-class infrastructure solutions comparable to nationally recognized competitors, but at a more attractive value to customers.”
With the emergence of cloud computing, a growing number of PlusOne customers were asking for a robust cloud services offering running on an enterprise-class Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), the company said. “PlusOne’s core competencies, however, revolve around highly reliable physical infrastructure and colocation services, not cloud technology. Therefore, PlusOne decided to find a partner that could provide a white-label IaaS solution,” the company said in a statement.
PeakColo, based in Denver, offers WhiteCloud services built upon VMware and NetApp foundational technologies.
“We are delighted to enter into this relationship with PlusOne for their white-label usage of our WhiteCloud Services”, states Luke Norris, CEO and founder of PeakColo. “In partnering with PeakColo, PlusOne is able to immediately offer its customers efficient and reliable cloud-based services with enterprise-class features and performance.”
PlusOne is a data center solutions provider specializing in flexible, carrier-neutral colocation services, with facilities in Chicago and Atlanta.
