Pure Storage announced new enhancements and deeper partner integrations with its data storage platform to improve cyber resilience. The integrated and connected strategy is designed to provide organizations with a unified defense to proactively anticipate, address and recover from today’s most sophisticated cyber threats, the company said.
The new additions include CrowdStrike Falcon next-generation security information and event management (SIEM) integration to strengthen security in mission-critical storage environments. “By ingesting storage data from Pure Storage arrays into Falcon Next-Gen SIEM, joint customers will gain real-time visibility and automated response—instantly updating policies, isolating systems and securing replication to stop attacks before they impact critical operations,” Pure Storage officials said. General availability is scheduled for the third quarter next year.
Pure Storage has also partnered with Superna to provide file and user monitoring that targets attacks like data exfiltration or double-extortion ransomware. Integrated with Pure Storage FlashArray and FlashBlade, Superna Data Security Essentials provides automated, real-time threat detection and response at the data layer. Compromised accounts are instantly locked when malicious activity is detected, and security policies are enforced automatically, the company said. This is generally available now.
In addition, Pure Storage has partnered with Veeam to offer cyber resilience as a service, creating enterprise-wide visibility, automation and data recovery. Expected to be available in the fourth quarter of 2026, this cyber resilience will be delivered as a service with a cloud-like consumption model and backed by SLAs, officials said.
Finally, new Pure Protect recover zones will be able to be provisioned automatically to allow businesses to non-disruptively test and validate applications and data or to remediate and recover from malicious attacks without impacting production environments, the company said. This is expected to be generally available during the first quarter of 2027.
