Relayware Appoints New CEO

Relayware, a partner relationship management (PRM) software provider that accelerates channel revenue growth for worldwide businesses, today announced the appointment of Gordon Rapkin as chief executive officer. Former CEO Bob Mann will continue to chair Relayware’s board of directors.

In his new role, Rapkin will drive the company’s expansion into new vertical markets, and cultivate its international customer base. He brings more than 35 years of technology expertise and channel leadership to Relayware. Previously, Rapkin successfully served as CEO of three high-tech companies, including Archive Systems, where he nearly tripled the value of the business in his tenure, and Protegrity, where he built a team that increased sales by 100 percent in each year of his tenure.

“Relayware is at the forefront of driving channel revenue, and its continuous, exceptional momentum is a shining example of the strength of our platform,” said Rapkin. “In 2015, the company doubled its customer base and revenues surged by 35 percent, evidence that more businesses are awakening to the fact that a partner channel is a force-multiplier. We drive business success by maximizing the value of partner networks, and delivering data-driven business insights. As CEO, my goal is to accelerate our success as we continue to lead the way with the premier partner relationship management platform.”

“As we reach new corporate heights, we’re honored to welcome Gordon as Relayware’s CEO,” said Mann. “With his proven ability to lead international, VC-backed technology companies with significant channel operations, he will enable Relayware to reach new markets and verticals to continue to boost revenue, and he will continue to build on Relayware’s philosophy that bringing businesses closer to their channel partners is essential to the success of both vendors and partners.”
