Salt Security, an application programming interface (API) security company, reported that TripActions deployed its API Protection Platform. The travel and spend-management platform plans to use the technology to secure the APIs underlying its platform.
Salt’s API Protection software features continuous delivery capabilities for identifying API risk and exposed data, delivering remediation insight and supporting improved security posture. API Protection also supports “API-first” companies by providing analysis and context of attack “early indicators,” via its artificial intelligence (AI) and Big Data engine, in order to halt attacks and provide feedback.
TripActions used the software to specifically target “shadow” APIs, detect hackers and gain insight.
