Cybersecurity specialist SecurityFirst has appointed industry veterans Richard Vaughn and Nicholas Waddell as directors of channel sales.
The two will help create new channel partnerships and shepherd the go-to-market strategy for DataKeep, an information security software solution launched in September that simplifies data protection.
“DataKeep is a fundamental technology that keeps data secure and private wherever it resides. The channel will help us deliver this privacy benefit to organizations of all sizes,” said Jim Varner, CEO of SecurityFirst. “Waddell and Vaughn bring exceptional industry knowledge and experience to the team, and will help create the optimal partner channel strategy for DataKeep, the most open data-centric protection solution available.”
Previously, Vaughn was with Toshiba America Information Systems, where he led the channel sales team since 2004. He was named Toshiba’s US Channel Chief in 2014.
Waddell has worked in senior sales management and business development positions for some of the biggest names in tech during his 35-year career, most recently as Channel Sales Director for Consulting Services at Cylance, and prior to that, was the Healthcare Vertical Leader at Ingram Micro, where he built the vertical business model, structure and vertical market channel programs.
