Sherweb Intros White-Labeled MSP Self-Service Portal

Sherweb, a technology and service provider for MSPs, launched its white-labeled Self-Service portal. This portal will allow MSPs to put the companies they serve in control of “quick-turnaround tasks.”

Companies can use the portal to handle everyday activities, including ordering and assigning technology licenses, managing subscriptions and making payments. Access to the portal means having a fully branded digital presence, onsite at clients’ companies, that is customized to customer-specific need.

The Self-Service portal is now available to the nearly 8,000 MSPs with which Sherweb works, at no additional charge. Self-Service portal lets MSPs deliver with their own branding, customized to individual client usage.

Through the portal, MSPs can:

  • Automatically invoice and collect payments, via PayPal, for client services.
  • Introduce curated catalogs with products from Sherweb’s marketplace.
  • Let clients buy and manage licenses and subscriptions.
  • Introduce helpdesk functionality, via built-in chat.

“MSPs are on the frontlines of today’s technology evolution, guiding business in every industry through their digital transformations. But in order for them to power large structural overhauls they first need to minimize time spent on small – but necessary – day to day support,” said Rick Stern, senior director of platform, Sherweb. “Giving autonomy to customers is a win for every party involved. Companies can turn around simple inquiries much more quickly by eliminating MSPs as a middle man in situations where they are not necessary. And with a reduction in the flood of requests, MSPs’ can address high-level concerns as well as hone in on strategic initiatives to drive revenue for both themselves and their customers.”

MSPs can integrate Sherweb’s Self-Service portal for free. Following an initial pilot, it is now employed by over 450 MSPs.
