Simplicity VoIP Taps netsapiens for UC Platform

Simplicity VoIP, a Richmond, Va.-based IP service provider, has selected netsapiens as a platform provider for its unified communications (UC) portfolio of business phone solutions.

After completing a year-long process of market research, exploring client needs and vetting potential providers, Simplicity VoIP made the substantial investment to bring the netsapiens solution into the fold, to roll out enhanced UC features for business customers of all sizes, the company said.

netsapiens is a Class 5 carrier-grade UC platform for service providers and large enterprises. Simplicity VoIP will adopt netsapiens’ VoIP SNAPsolution, with enhanced functionality such as enterprise-level call center features, SIP trunking, mobile apps and call recording. The features will complement Simplicity VoIP’s existing communication offerings, which include hosted VoIP and PBX, phones and equipment, SimplicityFax and managed services.

For deployment, Simplicity VoIP went local, positioning its main switch in QTS’s Richmond data center, with a second presence in Dallas for geo-redundancy.

“We are excited to bring netsapiens to market,”  said Ben Humphreys, Simplicity VoIP CEO and founder of master agency Comtel Communications. “As a cutting-edge solution, this is a win-win for our customers who want advanced functionality to drive efficiencies yet desire a reasonable price point to drive profitability.”

Ken Adams, vice president of marketing and partnerships at netsapiens, added: “We are excited to welcome Simplicity VoIP as one of the newest members of the netsapiens community. As a trusted service provider in the Richmond area and beyond, we look forward to working with them to give their customers more features and reliability. netsapiens has worked hand in hand with Simplicity VoIP to provide a more flexible UC platform that is easy to administer from an end-user perspective, as well as for back-end technical support.”

Simplicity VoIP has begun the introduction of netsapiens to prospective clients and anticipates a December 1 wide-release launch. A free telecom audit, valued at $1,250, is being offered to the first 25 businesses who inquire and this will be combined with 10 percent off of the first month’s VoIP billing if an agreement is signed within 60 days of a completed audit.
