SLA Digital has announced another live deployment with Google Play for direct carrier billing. SLA Digital provides an alternative mobile payment solution that does not require credit card or bank details–purchases can go on subscribers’ mobile bills instead.
SLA Digital has deployed direct carrier billing on Google Play for a mobile operator in the Middle East, allowing their subscribers to purchase digital content from games to apps and music from the Google Play store by simply deducting the transaction from their prepaid phone credit or charging it to their post-paid phone bill.
Due to the success of SLA Digital’s first live deployment with Google Play earlier this year, the company continues to work with global mobile operators and premium partners like Google Play to grow revenues and improve customer experiences.
Nic Stirk, CEO at SLA Digital said, “At SLA Digital we are delighted to announce our involvement in another live deployment with Google Play for direct carrier billing. This payment channel is proving to be the most convenient and accessible way that people are using to pay for digital content via app stores and content partners online.”
SLA Digital expects further live operator connections to Google Play for Direct Carrier Billing in the coming year.
