Snom Strengthens Management Team from Within

Snom Technology, a premium IP telephony brand, appointed longtime employees Mark Wiegleb (VP, products) and Mario Schenker (head of logistics and sales operations) to new positions. It noted that the designations underscore Snom’s commitment to innovation, customer satisfaction and operational excellence. 

Mark Wiegleb will bring more than ten years of experience in the telecommunications industry to his new role as VP of products. With Snom since 2011, he initially worked in business development and key account management. Starting in 2015, he took over as integration director and was responsible for developing and maintaining a strategic network of interoperability partners. 

Today, this network includes more than 25 partners, including BroadSoft, Metaswitch, Asterisk, Microsoft and Zoom. Most recently serving as head of customer success, Wiegleb led an international team in six countries and was responsible for the development, implementation and management of a cloud platform for device management (Snom SRAPS). 

In this role, Wiegleb will focus on portfolio strategic development and the opening of new business areas. 

Schenker, meanwhile, has been working with Snom Technology since 2005. After training as an IT salesperson, he started in the order management and service department, where he was responsible for introducng and establishing fixed processes and customer support in the EMEA, U.S. and Asia. Schenker also introduced new systems such as the ERP and the Snom partner program. In 2017, he took over as sales operations manager and, since 2019, has worked as teamlead, internal sales and sales operations, with a key role in the topic of CRM. 

As head of logistics and sales operations, Schenker will focus on process stability, supported by automation, to continue delivering excellent service to Snom customers and partners.
