snom UC SIP Phones Certified with Microsoft Lync

snom technology AG’s UC Edition IP business phones have been qualified by Microsoft as fully interoperable with Microsoft Lync Server 2013.

snom’s UC Edition IP phones, which include the recently released 710, 720 and 760 IP phones, are the first SIP endpoints to earn “Qualified” status for Microsoft Lync Server 2013 – which signifies full interoperability and integration of standards-based desktop phones in Lync deployment environments.

Microsoft Lync Server 2013 provides a consistent, single-client experience for presence, instant messaging, voice and video, as well as meeting tools. Lync Server 2013 voice users utilizing snom UC Edition phones for desktop communications can make use of traditional IP PBX and Lync collaboration features, including: Boss/Admin, Music on Hold, Call Park and integrated presence buttons. snom endpoints also support including improved configuration options for call forwarding and simultaneous ringing.
