StarView Solutions announced that it has selected text messaging (SMS) services from TSG Global, Inc. in an effort to expand its SMS network footprint and bolster the array of wholesale VoIP origination products it offers communication services provider customers. The addition of text messaging services from TSG Global will allow StarView Solutions to enable its base of VoIP carriers, service providers and reseller customers, as well as mobile application providers and developers with an even greater range of wholesale VoIP features.
“SMS-enabling our global network of direct-inward-dial (DID) and toll-free phone numbers will allow our customers to not only activate text messaging on any mobile applications, but to also enable traditional or cloud-based texting on any landline phone number, which is a winning feature of TSG Global’s carrier-grade network,” said Joel Balistreri, VP of sales at StarView Solutions.
StarView Solutions’ API-driven VoIP origination portal will also enable its wholesale VoIP customers to easily pull down any amount of SMS-enabled inventory from the company’s global network of wholesale VoIP applications. This will simplify the ability to acquire and activate phone numbers through proactive, real-time transactions, which can also help to heighten the dexterity of their own product portfolios downstream, says the company.
“While SMS is dominating the marketplace, customers benefit from the easy-to-use interface of our DID acquisition portal, enabling a range of telecom players to quickly add SMS as a value-added service, along with our other information services such as Caller ID Name (CNAM) to their phone number orders through our portal, explained Chris Griffin, president of StarView Solutions. “Our sourcing process allows them to more easily enable text messaging on their wireless and wireline applications to address the demands of enterprises and consumers,” he continued.
