Novatel Wireless has signed up value-added distributor SYNNEX to distribute its MiFi Powered SA 2100 M2M LTE gateway via the MOBILITYSolv group.
Novatel Wireless’ SA 2100 is an M2M LTE gateway device that incorporates the MiFi technology platform with customizations for multiple vertical markets and multiple “connected life” scenarios., including telemetry for digital video surveillance, digital signage, remote access and control, and kiosk connectivity.
“This strategic relationship enables SYNNEX to deliver unparalleled IoT telemetry solutions to US and Canadian audiences, while reflecting our commitment to be closer to our customers,” said Slim Souissi, president and COO at Novatel Wireless. “We are delighted to integrate the SA 2100 into the SYNNEX MOBILITYSolv robust portfolio of proven solutions as we continue to power the Internet of Things.”
The SA 2100 also provides automotive mobile hotspot functionality that can be used to address both telematics and mobile workforce use cases. A single device can now support both the mobile workforce and telematics peripherals such as in-cab cameras, laptops, and tablets for fleet drivers at the same time.
“Novatel Wireless’ longstanding industry expertise and the vast capabilities of the SA 2100 open up new opportunities in green field verticals that are within our M2M strategy for the MOBILITYSolv group,” said Adnon Dow, Vice President, Global Mobility Solutions, SYNNEX. “Combined with SYNNEX’ logistics capabilities, together we bring a true value proposition for our solution providers to offer their end customers.”
