TBI is gearing up to host its annual BIG Event, which will focus on educating its partners.
This year’s forum will focus on the IoT, cybersecurity and digital transformation. TBI has lined up a full list of speakers and will include keynote addresses from Bob Bigman, former Chief Information Security Officer at the Central Intelligence Agency and Norman Marks, former Vice President of Governance, Risk & Compliance at SAP.
The complimentary forum is scheduled for Thursday, June 21 at Venue Six10 in Chicago.
“The data is overwhelming, end users in charge of IT purchasing are focused on security in 2018,” said David Landsberger, Director of Training Events at TBI. “TBI recognizes our responsibility to train and educate our channel partner community, and that’s why this year’s BIG event is going to be focused on securing the end user’s IT environment,” adds Landsberger.
Bigman, who spent more than two decades with the CIA, will educate partners about the unsecured future of the IoT. He plans to bring war stories to the table to frame the past and help attendees understand the future.
Marks will coach attendees on how to discuss cybersecurity with the entire executive suite to facilitate the board approval of proposed solutions. He’s an executive coach with a dynamic message and logic that business owners immediately understand and take seriously.
The BIG Event will also feature:
- Zee Hussain, Channel Chief and Senior Vice President AT&T Partner Solutions, AT&T Business;
- Lisa Miller, CenturyLink’s President of Wholesale, Indirect Channels & Alliances;
- Jody Hagemann, Director of Next Generation Networking at Comcast Business; and
- Matt Montgomery, Business Operations Director for the Wireless Business Group in Verizon Wireless.
Panel discussions throughout the day will include Ryan Crandell, MetTel’s Director of Fleet & Mobility Solutions and Bob Maute, Vice President of Channel Sales for Evolve IP.
BIG Event attendees will have the opportunity to connect with representatives from a variety of channel partners, vendors, industry leaders and peers throughout the day. Some of the partners participating in the event and onsite vendor fair include AT&T, CenturyLink, Comcast, Verizon, 8×8, Evolve IP, MetTel, Singlehop and Spectrum.
“We’re giving our partners the ability to customize their learning experience onsite,” says Landsberger. “We are also facilitating meetings onsite with our vendor community and channel partners to take solution messaging to the market.”
