Telarix Inc. was awarded the 2015 Visionary Spotlight Enterprise Award for its Software as a Service (SaaS) offering by ChannelVision Magazine.
“Our team has worked hard to build a product that allows carriers to elastically scale their infrastructure to meet the high event-driven demands of the market,” said Vic Bozzo, senior vice president of worldwide sales and marketing at Telarix. “The SaaS version of our product enables us to be more versatile by servicing more segments of the market, allowing carriers to choose between an op-ex or cap-ex strategy. We are humbled to be chosen for this award and be recognized by such a respected organization.”
Telarix, through its two products iXTools and iXLink, provides billing, settlement, trading, price list management, and routing solutions to carriers around the globe. Its customers include Verizon, AT&T, SoftBank, Orange, Skype, America Movil and China Mobile.
The inaugural Visionary Spotlight Awards competition has been created to honor outstanding products, services and deployments across a variety of communications technology categories. The nominations were judged based on a stringent set of evaluation criteria, highlighting overall innovation, as well as future industry impact of the nominated product or service; creativity and feature set differentiation; and ease of use and interoperability.
“We have created the Visionary Spotlight Awards program to highlight the rapid pace of evolution within the communications industry, to give innovators and industry visionaries the opportunity to gain the exposure and recognition that they deserve,” said Berge Kaprelian, president of Beka Publishing. “We are seeing breathtaking changes in both business models and the technology itself. Our team of respected industry veterans has deep experience in both channel/enterprise technology as well as the service provider arena, and I’m looking forward to seeing them bring their critical, independent evaluations to bear in uncovering the most meaningful deployments and product/service design and engineering across our industry today.”
