Telarus has hired industry-veteran Randi Robison as senior partner development manager (SPDM) of Utah and Idaho.
In this role, Robison will help existing Telarus channel partners expand their data, voice, cloud, and contact center practices, as well as recruit new companies interested in leveraging the many free resources from Telarus. Robison comes to Telarus from West UC, a leading provider of conferencing, collaboration, managed voice, network, and digital media services.
“We are excited to welcome Randi as our new senior partner development manager of Utah and Idaho,” said Koby Phillips, RVP of the mountain west region for Telarus. “Utah, which is home to our corporate headquarters and half of our top 20 partners nationwide, is a region very near and dear us. We wanted to give them ‘home court’ advantage by providing white-glove service from a partner development perspective. Randi came highly recommended from these top partners in the area: she is highly responsive, knowledgeable about UC – our fastest growing product line – and has a track record of overachievement. She’ll focus on getting our valued partners in Utah and Idaho the education and resources they need to expand into the fastest-growing areas of technology brokerage: cybersecurity and cloud contact center.”
Over her very successful career, Robison has held several roles while at West UC that will help her offer tremendous value to the Utah and Idaho-based partners. She began as a global account representative where she met with West UC’s largest customers to learn more about their businesses and how West’s world-class products could create value for them. Most recently, Robison served as a territory sales executive, covering Utah, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. During her time in both positions, Randi developed a reputation for responsiveness, building successful teams, and always doing the right things for her customers and partners.
“Living and working in Utah, I’ve had the opportunity to see Telarus’ massive growth over the past few years, and now I am proud to join their field sales team as the SPDM of Utah and Idaho,” said Robison. “With Telarus and CarrierSales coming together last year, I’m walking into an ideal situation where just about every agent here has either heard of Telarus or works with Telarus already. I look forward to giving these partners extra love, attention, and guidance as they focus on expanding their contact center, UCaaS, and cybersecurity practices. Telarus has built and purchased so many time-saving software tools over the past decade, and it’s my job to see that my partners are leveraging them, and our unique engineering resources, to the max. It’s going to be exciting seeing our top partners grow even more!”
