Founded in 2001, Momentum serves 80,000 digital voice lines and is a CLEC in 45 states. The company offers personalized cloud PBX solutions to direct subscribers and via more than 300 partners nationwide, along with hosted VoIP, SIP trunking and unified communications services.

“The VoIP services market is on track with our expectations for 2013,” said Diane Myers, principal analyst for VoIP, UC and IMS at Infonetics Research. “Residential VoIP services make up the majority of revenue, but growth is being fueled by business services as SIP trunking and cloud unified communications continue to expand and find broader adoption with enterprises of all sizes.”
Worldwide business VoIP service revenue is forecast by Infonetics to grow at a 7 percent CAGR from 2012 to 2017.
