Telinta and Alcatel-Lucent have announced a solution to automate the provisioning of Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise’s open SIP phones using Telinta’s softswitch platform.
Telinta has developed auto-provisioning profiles for the Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise models H2P, M3, M5, and M7 open SIP phones. These newly designed SIP devices include HD wideband audio, alphabetic keyboard and Bluetooth handsets, offering a rich communication experience at a competitive price, with a modern design.
When Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise’s devices are deployed using Telinta’s cloud-based softswitch, ITSPs can easily provision any number of open SIP phones, activate or deactivate features, and update firmware, and more. This unique solution enables ITSPs to provision open SIP phones using the same cloud-based platform they rely on to perform other key business processes such as routing their traffic, managing billing and payment options, and other important aspects of a profitable VoIP business.
Auto-provisioning profiles are a standard part of Telinta’s TeliCore softswitch platform. TeliCore integrates Telinta’s cutting-edge solutions for ITSPs with world-class switching and billing capabilities. Using Telinta’s platform, ITSPs and their resellers can easily offer hosted PBX, SIP trunking, business and residential VoIP, work-from-home services, mobile solutions, and other services around the world.
ITSPs can easily create their inventory of Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise open SIP phones using Telinta’s web-based interface. When the phones are connected to an IP network, they will automatically download a complete configuration profile from Telinta’s platform, without the need for manual configuration or an installer visit.
